Run by a trio of ex-backpackers, the Sunflower is a chilled place with retro '70s wallpaper, a pool table, and beds in dorms, singles, and doubles. It has lockers big enough for rucksacks, a laundry, cooking facilities, and free bike hire. The same gang also runs the Sunflower Beach Backpacker Hostel located at Viale Siracusa 25, which is open from the end of March to the end of October and has the same prices and facilities. Take bus 11 from the train station to stop 24.
