Suggested by Lonely Planet, Lets’Go and Rouge Guide. Run by a trio of ex-backpackers, the Sunflower is a chilled place with retro ’70’s wallpaper, a pool table and beds in dorms, singles and doubles. It has lockers big enough for rucksacks, a laundry, cooking facilities and free bike hire. The same gang also run the Sunflower Beach Backpacker Hostel located at Viale Siracusa 25 (), which is open from the end of March to the end of October and has the same prices and facilities. Take bus 11 from the train station to stop 24.
